Supporting Chiropractic and Wellness Education
Wisconsin Chiropractic Association
The WCA has been serving the chiropractic profession since 1911. The association was founded by seventeen doctors of chiropractic in Ashland, Wisconsin. The first president was Dr. Pal Von De Schoeppe, Dr. F.M. Clark was Vice President, and Dr. I.D. Wood was Secretary-Treasurer. It wasn’t until the 1950s that the association found a permanent address in the Milwaukee area, and later relocated to Madison.
The Wellness Champions
The Wellness Champions is a professional group of health experts who ingenuously maximize wellness in the workplace. Each doctor is given a certification number as not only having had completed higher training, but also having received, and maintained, exemplary evaluations in the field. WC speakers and Doctors must complete a meticulous wellness training, and communication courses before being invited to join our elite association.
International Chiropractors Association Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics
The Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics is one of the specialty departments of the International Chiropractors Association. Its primary objective is to provide quality postgraduate education in chiropractic pediatrics so that the doctor of chiropractic who cares for children and pregnant women has the knowledge and skills to provide care that is effective, always safe, clinically appropriate, and of a high professional standard. The Council also promotes and encourages credible research in this field by holding research symposiums and publishing the profession’s only open access research journal on pediatrics.
